The Bugle Sounds 1942 DVD

Cavalry sergeant "Hap" Doan (Wallace Beery) is a traditional soldier used to horses, and he doesn't take too well to the changes the army has in store. They plan on introducing tanks and armored cars to replace Doan's beloved horse, Cantigny. Doan sulks and tells his girlfriend, Susie (Marjorie Main), that he plans to retire and live on a farm. After he finally accepts the modernization plan, a sabotaged tank crashes into a stable, wounding Cantigny.
