Sons O' Guns 1936 DVD

Theater star Jimmy Canfield (Joe E. Brown) has no interest in fighting in World War I. But to impress his fiancée, Mary (Beverly Roberts), and dodge another girlfriend, Bernice (Winifred Shaw), Jimmy pretends to join the Army. It turns out he joined for real, and Jimmy soon finds himself in France, where he falls for Yvonne (Joan Blondell) and is arrested as a spy. Things get more madcap, but Jimmy manages to turn the tables on the Germans and lead them into an Allied trap.
