Danny Boy 1946 DVD

Danny Boy is a German shepherd back from World War II, where he earned numerous decorations for his service. He is kidnapped by a disgruntled animal hater but manages to escape and return to his young owner, Jimmy Bailey (Robert "Buzzy" Henry). But when the dog later sees the man who kidnapped and tortured him, he attacks and is deemed a threat to the community. Danny Boy is to be put to sleep, but when he saves the life of a little girl, the law begins to reconsider his fate.
